10AM – 11:30AM, Onawa, Iowa, in front of the courthouse.
This rally is in support of voting early or on Election Day November 3. Bring your own signs, lawn chairs, and comfort items as desired. We are also collecting pantry items for our neighbors in need during these difficult economic times. We are committed to a lawful and nonviolent gathering. The county sheriff will be notified of any unlawful or dangerous behavior adjacent to the rally. Note, although the polls are not open the day of the rally, you are encouraged to vote as early as possible. Early voting opens October 14 at the county building during business hours.

This past March 28 we had a great NO KINGS rally in Onawa with over 65 local citizens, and a literal truckload of donations for the foodbank. Let’s do it again, this time in support of VOTING!! I’ve cleared everything with the county auditor and the county sheriff’s office. Hope to see you there, and bring a friend!
No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
