No Kings Early Voting Disco Night!! 🪩🎉♥️🏳️🌈♿️🏳️⚧️🥰🎶
“Silent Zoom” disco party online, while we get stuff done!
Disco music plays, like a radio station.
GOTV is “Get Out The Vote” Radio!
Chitchat is kept in the Chat box, to keep vibes calm and help us get stuff done!
We do Volunteer tasks while the boogie heals our soul 🙂
“What kind of tasks do we do?”
* Check your voter registration,
* Fill out your Ballot, if you received it early by mail,
* Double-check your Poll Site hours, address, and Accessibility info,
* Help others finalize their Voting Plans!
* Do Get Out The Vote (GOTV) phone banks, text banks, and other Outreach – let’s get people to Vote Early!!
* Catch up on organizing emails to GOTV,
* Make sure you’re signed up to get your ballot early, by mail (if you can),
* Learn about your Ballot Questions and Candidates, so you know how you’ll vote,
* Finish part-done tasks you’ve already started.
* Write GOTV postcards!
Work on whatever Early Voting / GOTV Volunteer tasks are on your personal GOTV To Do list!
Make dinner, do GOTV postcards, do Phone Bank calls, etc.
Do whatever GOTV work you’d be doing anyway, but let us and the music keep you moving 🙂
If you need help getting started, our host / co-hosts will point you in the right direction 🙂
This type of teamwork is Strategic:
We’re “body doubling” and co-regulating, by doing this work together, nationwide!
Our team has hand-written and mailed over 65,000 nonpartisan Get Out The Vote postcards in the past two years, and we’re hoping to reach 75,000 in 2026!
Feel free to join this long-running “Disco Night” silent disco every Monday, Friday, and Saturday night, 7-9pm EST.
“GOTV Radio” broadcasts over zoom from Salem, Massachusetts, and is co-hosted by fellow volunteers all over the country.
“Why Disco?” 🪩🎉♥️🏳️🌈♿️🏳️⚧️🥰🎶
It’s the joyful music of the movement!
Disco Music is known for a “4 on the floor” beat, just a little faster than a resting heartbeat.
Listening to disco, especially when stressed or dealing with trauma, helps regulate our nervous systems!
Our hearts beat to the time, slight elevated but not in danger.
It reminds us that we’re safe, in a good place, doing the stuff that matters, and we can be effective!
It connects us to activism through the generations, and anchors us in best practices.
This event is hosted by a Queer, Disabled Femme and fellow neurodivergent, Queer, BIPoC, or Disabled friends! ♿️🏳️⚧️♥️🏳️🌈🪩
“Disco Night” started in 2024 to help volunteers push each other to make more calls, write more postcards, and do more tasks to remind people to Vote Early, check voter registration, etc.
We know that when more people vote, election results more accurately reflect the will of the People!
Voting early saves time, money, energy, and opportunities to help others do the same.
How to Join:

Click the Disco Ball icon to join the zoom!
Pajamas, no-video, no-interaction and other chill involvement are totally welcome.
Come as you are, get stuff done, and Get Out That Vote! 🙂
Our shared goal: Get people to Vote Early, Vote the whole ballot, and help others do the same!
Our one rule:
If you share something, keep it neutral or positive.
We’re all dealing with trauma and stress, esp. during the Fascism.
Let’s help each other Move Forward, get stuff done, rather than clutch pearls.
If you’re stressed out about an issue, share a related petition or action step with the group in the chat box!
Don’t know what to work on?
Lauren, our host, will gladly assign you tasks!

**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
