Join us on October 17 to turn people power into voter power. We will hold signs along Burlington at 4th Street urging people to vote–and, ideally, to vote early. We’ll also have a table with information about voting, early voting, and checking your registration.
Unlike previous No Kings actions, this one is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard. No thrones, no crowns, no kings!
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
