Join us for a special No Kings Day GOTV overpass standout!
RUWMI is participating in a state-wide “bridge brigade” to plaster highway overpasses with messages to VOTE EARLY!
This event is non-partisan, with signs focused on encouraging folks to vote, vote early, vote in person, vote today, check their registration, etc. Please keep your sign for this event in theme.
If You Bring a Sign, Banner, or Flag For sign and banner lettering, bigger is better, so it can be easily read from the roadway. Flags are great, too. Wouldn’t it be amazing to reclaim our flag?
*Mass DOT does not allow anything attached to the fencing so be prepared to hold your signs or have a stand.*
Please take everything you brought away with you and leave the site totally clean.
Please come out whether or not you have a sign or banner or flag. More people is better!
Come when you can, and leave when you must. You needn’t be present for the whole time. Joining us for 30 minutes is great too!
Let’s keep things 100% non-confrontational and non-violent, in words and body language. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
There is parking at either end of Bark Haul Road (in the Meadows on one end and at the turn-out on Longmeadow Street at the other). If you park on Bark Haul road, we will need to keep all cars parked on one side so as not to disrupt traffic flow to the Meadows for passing cars.
