Coact is micro-activist circle of neighbors and friends who gather weekly for a single activist hour to promote political engagement and voter advocacy. We are hosting an event at Lake Johnson in Raleigh NC called Paddling to the Polls. We plan to gather under the walking bridge and near the traffic bridge in our kayaks with signs promoting early voting as well as providing specific locations for early voting.

“No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.”
