**NO TRICKS. JUST VOTES!**
This year, we don’t want to leave our plans to vote until the last minute. With concerns about mail delays and heightened tensions surrounding the 2026 election, we’re encouraging voters to make a plan, vote early, and track their ballots.
Join us for a fun, family-friendly **1/2-mile Vote Early Walk**!
Start at the Nobel Recreation Center, grab your **Vote Early Trail Card**, then follow the route to six interactive trail stops—collecting a stamp at each one as you make your way toward voting early. Start by sharing **why you vote**, then discover a different activity or experience at each stop. There will be plenty for kids and adults to do, plus reliable voter resources to help you make your voting plan and know where to turn if you need help.
Bring a creative sign about voting to carry along the walk! Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults, and keep an eye out for our inflatable critters cheering walkers on along the way.
Most importantly, **bring your completed ballot** so you can return it at the official ballot drop box at the North University Community Library.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your neighbors. Bring your ballot. Make sure your voice is counted.
**Costumes encouraged. No tricks. Just votes!**
*An accessibility option will be available for anyone unable to complete the approximately 1/2-mile route.*
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
