About this engagement

No Kings: Vote Early! Annandale, VA, I-495 Bridge Brigade

JOIN US: RALLY ON ORFORD-FAIRLEE SAMUEL MOREY MEMORIAL BRIDGE. Saturday, October 17, 10am to 12pm.

We do not have early voting in NH, but this rally will focus on the importance of mobilizing people to vote in these critical midterms. If you are concerned about the direction of our country, this is the time to vote for change and make a difference. Bring signs, American flags, friends, energy and good will. We want a powerful message and a big turnout!

DONATIONS FOR FOOD PANTRIES: We will continue our tradition of asking people to bring donations of non-perishable food or household goods or cash to support the Orford Cares Food Pantry or the Fairlee Food Pantry. The need for support persists. Food prices remain high and SNAP benefits will be cut in early 2027. Donation boxes will be at each end of the Bridge.

**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. This No Kings is not just a protest. October 17th is a day of mobilizing voter participation. We are bringing together our community in Orford and neighboring towns to ensure that people make a plan to vote and understand their options for how to vote.

On October 17th, join us on the bridge as millions gather in local events across the country to raise our voices and say loud and clear: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Its the PEOPLE who have the power to choose our leaders. NOW IS THE TIME TO USE THAT POWER. VOTE!

*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
