NO KINGS: VOTE EARLY and VOTE YOUR VALUES!
JOIN OUR NON-VIOLENT, NON-PARTISAN, FAMILY FRIENDLY, PEACEFUL EVENT THAT SENDS A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY TO VOTE YOUR VALUES and VOTE EARLY!
There were 250+ BALLOTS from Mason County alone that were NOT COUNTED in the August primary because the ballot was mailed using the USPS and MISSED THE POSTMARK DEADLINE! Let’s get the message out to VOTE EARLY, AND/OR USE A BALLOT DROP BOX!
If you believe in accountability, democracy, and a government that answers to the people, join us to share that message with our community!
SIGNS WILL BE AVAILABLE, OR CONSIDER BRINGING YOUR OWN SIGNS that focus on getting out the vote EARLY and/or related to specific VALUES that will resonate with ALL voters! Suggestions: No Kings – vote now…-vote today…-mail ballot NOW…-use ballot drop boxes. Vote and be heard. Don’t stay silent. Your vote is vital. Vote your values; Vote out corruption; Vote 4 – honesty…-Justice…-We the people…-your kids…-rule of law…-Health Care…-our constitution…-our national parks…-our veterans.

IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW…
DATE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2026
TIME: 11AM-1PM
LOCATION: Kneeland Park, 100 Turner Avenue, Shelton, WA 98584
BE SURE YOU GET A STICKER SO YOUR ATTENDANCE IS COUNTED. Stickers will be distributed along the sidewalk.
WE SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH FOOD AND SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVES: IF YOU ARE ABLE, please bring NON-PERISHABLE FOOD and SCHOOL SUPPLIES to donate to our local food banks and school children. Many in our communities rightfully live in fear of, and are victims of, ICE activities. Our families are being torn apart because of that. Thank you for helping your neighbors.
SAFETY: We are first and foremost a non-violent movement. Should verbal abuse be directed at us, we do not engage in a disrespectful way. We do not escalate rhetoric toward violence, we de-escalate. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully, and respectfully, at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
The Shelton Police Department has been notified of our peaceful protest. You may see them cruise by on the highway and/or park in the area. Additionally, our local team of Peacekeepers with walkie-talkies and wearing yellow vests will be in place to assist. Seek them out if you need assistance of any kind.
We will line up along the Kneeland Park Hwy 3 sidewalk. As more people arrive, please spread out along that sidewalk so drivers can read your signs and be motivated to VOTE! Be safe and considerate of pedestrians using the sidewalk, and do not lean into traffic or step off the curb into the bike lane.
IN THE PARK: At the Mason County Indivisible table, you will find extra signs, bottled water, snacks, first aid support and chairs if you need a respite. Also, plan to visit the information tables of our coalition partners, League of Women Voters, Mason County Immigrant Support Network, etc.
RESTROOMS: are available in the park.
PLAN FOR THE WEATHER: We are encouraging all able-bodied allies in possession of rain gear (and who isn’t in the PNW?!) to join us. Please bring your water and snacks to stay energized, and a folding chair if you’re more comfortable sitting. What a fabulous witness it will be for our community to see a band of die-hard voters out there encouraging everyone to VOTE YOUR VALUES and VOTE EARLY!
PARKING: Please carpool if you can. Parking is very limited along Kneeland Park. Additional parking is across Turner Avenue in the UPPER parking lot behind the Shelton Athletic Club and along neighboring streets. Let’s be good neighbors and not block any driveways.
Our coalition of partners across Mason County, and beyond, are excited to join with you on this day to show our community and the world we support democratic values.
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
