In Nation-wide cooperation with the No Kings Coalition, SSCI will hold a Festival and March to bring the community together and celebrate our Right to Vote! and ask that we all VOTE EARLY and Dropbox Your Ballot!
Voting Early gives us the Power to Make Our Voices Heard on our own terms, before Election Day and before anyone else gets to decide what happens next. But making a plan takes more than intention. It takes information and resources. Information will be available at this event!
11:30 – 12:30 Festival!! Ballots will be mailed to all voters on Oct. 9th in Snohomish County, so everyone should be on the lookout for their ballots by October 17th. At the festival we will have information on the crucial issues and information on what to do if you don’t receive your ballot by then, as well as fun activities for kids and families!
12:30 – 1:30 Speakers and Music to match the mood!
1:30 – 2:30 At the end of the festival there will be two options on which direction to head next. Stay Tuned!
No Kings events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
