We are so excited to be hosting a rally with No Kings on October 17th. This is the biggest rally HCAO has participated in and will be crucial to have on the ground volunteers helping with this effort as we let Oregon know that a universal plan is on the way and will be delivered to the January 2027 session.
Our volunteer needs will expand as organizers update us with needs. For now primarily we are looking for:
-Set up (for entire protest)
-Chanters
-Info table and crowd canvassers circulating the crowd with clipboards
-Merch sales
-A letter writing campaign set up area where we teach people how to write in to their legislators
-Tear down (for entire protest)
The actual event runs from noon to 4pm. But we will need folks to assist before and after with set up and tear down.
