Join Herndon-Reston Indivisible and friends to mark No Kings 4 on October 17 with an Early Vote Visibility Corner event at the corner of Gosnell Rd and VA Route 7, Tysons; the same location as the Fight for Democracy protests that took place earlier this year.
This Early Vote Visibility Corner is a special effort to revive all the passion, caring, energy, and joy from those protests to recognize that now, in the fall of 2026, we must do everything we can to promote voting for the November 3 election.
More specifically, we need to encourage voting early and in-person to make sure we elect pro-democracy candidates at all levels if we want to save our democracy. Further, we need to win by a large margin in order to lessen the opportunity of the authoritarians running our country to claim the election results are not legitimate.
Let’s focus our message and display signs that refer to the right to vote and the need to vote, and in particular to vote early and in person. That is how we will win this fight.
THIS IS OUR COUNTRY. WE NEED TO TAKE IT BACK — EARLY VOTE! EARLY VOTE! EARLY VOTE!
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
