# National No Kings day is the FIRST DAY OF EARLY VOTING IN MA!! We want you all to show up, show out, and VOTE!
## This No Kings is different: instead of just gathering to send a message, we are working to create the _largest early voting wave_ in our history. Wherever you live, make sure you make some noise and ensure folks know that they can be an early voter starting (in MA) on 10/17!
### On this national Vote Early event, IRISE invites you to join us in *two* locations in town:
1. Atkinson Common/Three Roads
2. The Bartlet Mall
Our goals?
Get people to the polls on Day One of early voting, make everyone aware that early voting starts that day, and let people know that voting early is a safe, effective, and vital way to help protect the vote.
For residents of Newburyport, we urge you come to Atkinson Common for our visibility event, then take ten minutes to partner with 3-5 of your fellow rally-ers to walk over the Newburyport Senior Center to **cast your early vote!**
For all participants, we urge you to **BE A DAY ONE VOTER!**
And don’t just vote! Make sure everyone in your community knows that early voting is one of the best and most effective election protection actions you can take.

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
