About this engagement

No Kings: Vote Early! Annandale, VA, I-495 Bridge Brigade

Join us for the No Kings: Early Vote Express! We will have a rolling day of action that will start in Groton, then make stops in Pepperell, Townsend, Lunenburg, and Ashby. Burma Shave-style signs will urge motorists to vote early from October 17-30, while we wave American flags encouraging everyone to exercise their power at the polls.

The No Kings: Early Vote Express will travel as follows: Groton from 9:00–10:00 am, Pepperell from 10:30–11:30 am, Townsend from 12:00–1:00 pm, Ashby from 1:30–2:30 pm, and Lunenburg from 3:00–4:00 pm. Once registered, you will receive a signup form to choose which town you plan to attend. While some may want to participate the entire day, we are asking for your help with one time slot in one town.

PLEASE NOTE: You are encouraged to bring American flags to wave. No other signs are needed — our crew has the message covered! Please do not bring candidate, issue, or political signs of any kind. This is a nonpartisan event with one message and one message only: Vote Early.

**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.

*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
