This Saturday 10/17 Indivisible Metro-RI is holding a “Flyer Tour” of Providence, RI to remind and encourage people to vote early!
We will have a visible presence and pass out flyers in public areas, talking to people about voting early, and holding signs on the sidewalks supporting early voting! Please join as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings!
EVENT DETAILS:
Time: Gather at 8:30 am on Saturday 10/17. Hope Street Farmers Market
Place: Meet at the north corner of the Blackstone St greenery, just north of Lippitt Park https://maps.app.goo.gl/YqyJNUnf8xjpeSALA

We will have flyers and some signs available, but you’re more than welcome to make and bring your own signs if you want!
This is a non-partisan event encouraging early voting and supporting voting rights for all. Some key themes are:
· Early voting will already be available in RI on the 14th!
· It’s much easier and less crowded than Day Of voting.
· It’s harder for agitators to intimidate voters in early voting.
· You have more time to make Your Vote Count!
· This is already looking like a “wave” early voting year, let’s make it bigger!
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
“No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.”
