We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.
Right now, our elections are under unprecedented attack through efforts to weaken voting rights and make it harder for us to make our voices heard. In times like these, when our rights are threatened, we must work together to protect our elections and ensure every vote is counted. No one person, no institution, and no political party gets to decide our leaders before voters do.
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law. No Kings: Vote Early is the next step to reclaim our power after a year of mass mobilizations.
Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. We are turning people power into voter power through a day of massive nonpartisan voter participation. We are bringing our communities together to plan to vote early and ensure every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote, and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Early voting begins in West Virginia on October 21st. Voting early gives us the power to make our voices heard on our own terms, helping to ensure the safety of our votes by preventing Election Day tampering.
We know national action starts with local power, building organizing capacity that can turn moments of action into sustained power. That means October 17 and Election Day are not the finish line. Every No Kings: Vote Early event is also an on-ramp into election protection work, connecting communities with training and resources needed to defend our votes locally.
On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
