About this engagement

No Kings: Vote Early! Annandale, VA, I-495 Bridge Brigade

No crowns. No thrones. Just us, the people, with our ballots in hand. On October 17 from 10:00am – noon, we’re gathering in Fallbrook to prove democracy belongs to everyone, and that voting can be fun! Join us for a morning of celebrating, civic participation and VOTING!

What’s our goal for No Kings Vote Early? We want the largest early voting turnout in the history of Fallbrook!

Program Outline:
10:00 Rally at the corner of Fallbrook Street and Heald Lane. (park on Heald and on nearby side streets).
11:15 Parade – fun-filled procession 1/4 miles down Fallbrook Street to Village View Park (aka Skate Park) 🥳
11:30 VOTE While You’re Here! 🗳️ There’s an official ballot box at Skate Park, so we will be dropping off our completed ballots and then continuing the celebration.
We will continue to rally at the entrance of Skate Park. 🇺🇸
Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Those who don’t want to walk the 1/4 mile between locations can rally in front of Skate Park and the main group will meet you there at approximately 11:30am.

Bring your completed ballot, your inflatables, your flags, your signs, your dogs, your kids, your friends and your fun, patriotic or creative attire 🦖 Let’s speak out in joyful defiance and exercise our right to vote free of intimidation. Together, we will send a loud message to the authoritarians and fascists: No Kings In America!

**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.

Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.

*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
