Join Bonny Doon Resist for a No Kings Early event.
On October 17th, from 3:30pm to 5pm, we’ll gather to celebrate the power of community and encourage early voting. Unlike previous No Kings events, No Kings Early is a day of nonpartisan action focused on encouraging voters to cast their ballots early and also provide the opportunity to people who need to register or who have general questions.
Schedule
Meet us at 3:30 p.m. in Felton at Highway 9 and Graham Hill Road. At about 3:45 p.m., we’ll take a short, 0.2-mile march to Felton Covered Bridge Park.
At the Park
Enjoy live music by the Bonny Ukes of Doon, cookies, bubbles, kids’ activities. There will also be information tables for voter registration and answers to questions about the upcoming election.
Return Your Ballot
If you still have a completed ballot to return, a county ballot drop box is conveniently located at the park.
The event ends at 5 p.m. Don’t miss this symbolic day of unity.
No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
