No Kings: Vote Early! Annandale, VA, I-495 Bridge Brigade

Multnomah East Indivisible “NO KINGS – Vote Early”
Rally, March and Ballot Drop

October 17, 2026
10 am to noon
Gresham City Hall Plaza
1333 NW Eastman Parkway, Gresham, OR

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

The NO KINGS movement is taking the next step, turning people power into voter power, and MEI is inviting you to our East County “NO KINGS – Vote Early” Rally, March and Ballot Drop. This is not simply a protest. Instead, on October 17th, we will demonstrate Early Voting. Following a rally at Gresham City Hall Plaza, we will march along Eastman Parkway to NW 3rd St and into the parking lot of the old Gresham Library, where the ballot drop box is located.

Voter Pamphlets and Ballots will be mailed no later than Oct 14, and we are asking people (if they can) to complete their ballot right away and bring it to the rally so they can drop it directly into an official ballot drop box. No problem if you can’t complete your ballot by the 17th, we are setting an example, and will hold mini-events every following Saturday to repeat the same march and encourage voting.

We will have music and entertainment at the library parking lot, where people can mingle and discuss their plan to vote and support each other as needed. Following the march, people are encouraged to wander over to Main Ave for lunch or a snack before going back to your vehicle.

*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*

*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
