Let’s exercise our right to vote on Saturday, October 17th in Montezuma County, Colorado. The celebration begins at Veterans Park at 10:00 am. Keep signs focused on our core messages: vote early, protect the power of a vote, say no to power grabs.
Indivisible Montezuma encourages everyone to VOTE early, ballots will be in the mail by Oct 5th, and drop boxes will be open – get out there and VOTE! And then join us on Oct. 17th – for fun and to inspire others to get out there and VOTE!
We need to encourage everyone to vote early. We would like YOU to reach out to 25 neighbors, friends at coffee shops, work, social events you attend to VOTE EARLY. Bring a sign that will inspire others to take this active part in our democracy – or grab one of ours, plenty will be available.
No king. No politician. AND NO president gets to decide who wins an election.
We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.
For more than a year, millions of people like you have rejected the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they’re above the people and the law. Now we’re taking the next step — turning PEOPLE POWER into VOTER POWER!
Unlike previous No Kings actions, “No Kings: Vote Early” is not a protest. It’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation — bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early, and making sure every eligible voter knows their options and has the chance to make their voice heard.
No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
