About this engagement

Sully Dems Centreville Day Parade

Come join Sully Dems as we show our Dem “colors” when marching in the annual Centreville Day Parade. Attended by approximately 5,000 people, this is a way to demonstrate Democratic strength in Centreville to area residents. Our crowd is largely Dem-leaning and friendly. Our electeds will be joining us in marching – won’t you? The more people the merrier. Fun, small town atmosphere that makes you feel good about being there. No need to register. Do this and later participate in a No-Kings rally. Get there at 10:30; parade starts at 11:00 and ends at 11:30.

After the parade, do stop by our Sully Dems Voter and Children’s booths. We will have candidate lit and yard signs while they last. Nov candidates and other state and local officials will be joining us.

The parade starts at the end of Wharton Lane, east of the Historic District and ends at the intersection of Mt Gilead and Braddock add Less than one mile, moves slowly. Park on Pickwick Rd, Newhall Ct, Wharton Ln, or Shelburne At, then walk short distance to parade starts. There will be a shuttle bus service from Centreville United Methodist Church parking lot, 6400 Old Centreville Rd (near Shelburne St), which stops on Wharton Ln. Shuttle from church will be available until 10:15 am. Free parking is also available at Trinity Centre l, 5820 Trinity Parkway. This shuttle stops at Braddock Rd and you will have to walk to get to the start is the parade. The Trinity shuttle will run throughout the day
