Defend Democracy: Take Action
Our elections and democratic process are under attack. As part of the national No Kings October 17 Day of Action, Jamaica Plain Fights Back will reach out to residents throughout our neighborhood.
Last November, 200 plus JPFB volunteers leafletted more than 10,000 homes in Jamaica Plain, sharing information about the presence of ICE and actions residents could take to support their neighbors.
Now we need you again.
Join us on Saturday, October 17, beginning at 10 AM, as we leaflet neighborhoods throughout Jamaica Plain.
Together, we’ll share information with our neighbors about:
Why voting is critical
How to register to vote
Importance of Early voting
Where to vote during early voting and on Election Day
How to take action to defend democracy
Join us!
This will be a community-wide effort, and we need lots of volunteers to reach every corner of Jamaica Plain.

Bring a friend. Bring a neighbor. Help us reach Jamaica Plain!
This is a non partisan event designed to reach our neighbors!
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
