### Welcome to #TeamMaryland.
We’re so excited you’re interested in knocking on doors to re-elect Governor Wes Moore and to elect Democrats up and down the ballot!
**First time volunteering?** No worries. Each canvass shift starts with a training with an organizer who will be there to help you out. We’ll send you out with a buddy so you can knock on doors together.
**Are you a pro canvasser?** GREAT! Join us at our office to pick up some lit and a packet and we’ll get you out on the doors!
### What you’ll need.
**Before you knock on doors with us, you’ll need some things.**
1. A smartphone so you can download the MiniVAN Touch app, the Democratic Party’s canvassing app. Download it on [iPhone](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/minivan-touch/id352087547) or [android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.voteractivationnetwork.minivan&hl=en_US&gl=US).
2. A full water bottle! We’ll have water but always best to come prepared
3. Weather-appropriate clothes and good walking shoes!
**Who are you bringing along?** The more folks we have on the doors, the more voters we will be able to bring. So forward this event to a friend or two…or three? Or share it on social media using the hashtag **#TeamMaryland.**
