**Join us for a NO KINGS VOTE EARLY party! If you haven’t voted already, drop your ballot in the nearby ballot box on the way home!**
Voting is how we speak to power and how we assert our own. We vote our values and cherished ideals. We can and will steer America to be a more caring nation and principled society. Join us at this moment of truth in our nation’s history, and let freedom ring!
Bring a sign to inspire others to take an active part in our democracy! Let your sign express our highest aspirations, why America matters to the world, and/or why you’re proud that you’re an American. Increase your visibility with a family-friendly costume, flags, and banners. Bring friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and everyone you know of all ages for a fun morning of joyful community! Members of SoBoCo Indivisible will be available to help answer election questions!
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next, and together we will win!**
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to the wanna-be-kings, billionaires, and politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early is not purely a protest. Instead, October 17th is a day of nonpartisan voter participation. We are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensure every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote, has the opportunity to make their voice heard, and understands the importance and impact of their vote.
No one person gets to decide our leaders. We the voters do! On October 17th, join us in Superior as other local events happen all across the country to Get Out the Early Vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
