COMMUNITY RALLY & FOOD DRIVE

Saturday, October 17th
β° Noonβ2:00 PM
π Corydon Town Square
E Walnut St, Corydon, IN 47112
This rally is about something bigger than politics.
It is about US. Our families. Our neighbors. Our farmers. Our rights. Our community. And the country we are leaving to our children. β€οΈ
For more than a year, millions of Americans have stood together to say that this country does not belong to kings, billionaires, corporations, or politicians.
πΊπΈ It belongs to the people.
And that means ALL of us.
You are welcome here, no matter the party.
This is a nonpartisan, peaceful, family-friendly community event. We may not agree on everythingβand we don’t have to. We can still stand beside one another when it comes to protecting our communities and the things that matter to everyday people.
β€οΈ We can stand up for our constitutional rights and freedoms.
πΎ We can stand with our farmers and rural communities and recognize how important they are to our families, our economy, and our food supply.
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ We can stand up for working families who are struggling to afford groceries, housing, healthcare, utilities, and everyday necessities.
π€ We can take care of our neighbors who need a helping hand.
π³οΈ And we can protect our democracy by making sure every eligible voter understands their rights, knows their voting options, and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
If you are unhappy with the way the current administration is running our country, come stand with us.
But don’t just come to protest.
Come to help. Come to listen. Come to meet your neighbors. Come to support your community. And come ready to VOTE. πΊπΈπ³οΈ
This No Kings event is about turning people power into voter power.
We want people to leave knowing how to make a plan to vote, including how to vote early, because no politician gets to decide our future before the voters do.
And while we’re standing up for our country, we’re going to help take care of our community too. β€οΈ
π₯« FOOD, HYGIENE & CLEANING PRODUCT DRIVE
We will be collecting items for Harrison County Community Services to help local families who need a little extra support.
If you can give, please bring something.
A few cans of food matter. A bottle of shampoo matters. A package of diapers matters. Laundry detergent matters. Cleaning supplies matter.
When enough neighbors each do a little, together we can do a whole lot. π€β€οΈ

πΊπΈ A peaceful place to stand together and make our voices heard
No violence. No weapons.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your neighbors.
Bring a canned good or hygiene item if you’re able.
Bring a sign.
Most importantly, bring your voice.
There is so much trying to divide us right now. But our communities become stronger when we remember that the person standing next to us is our neighbor before they are a political label.
We can disagree and still care about each other.
We can fight for our rights while helping someone put food on their table.
We can support our farmers, our families, our workers, our children, and our neighbors.
And we can demand better from the people who represent us.
β€οΈπ€π That is what community looks like.
On October 17th, let’s fill Corydon Town Square with people who still believe in one another and in the power of our voices.
NO THRONES.
NO CROWNS.
NO KINGS.
πΊπΈ WE THE PEOPLE. πΊπΈ
No Kings: Vote Early is a nonpartisan event intended to encourage participation by all eligible voters. Everyone is welcome.
—-β————-
**We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.**
For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.
Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it’s a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing **our community** together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
Because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
