### Come with your Vote Early sign such as (Don’t Delay-Vote Today) (Mail Ballots before October 20) (Vote Early) (Make Your Plan to Vote) (VOTER PORTAL vote.vermont.gov) (Find Ballot – Vote Now) and be part of this No Kings nonpartisan voter action day. If you are so inclined come in costume, bring drums, bells, bubbles, anything that will bring attention to our visibility groups. We want a big presence and a festive atmosphere so invite friends and family to come along.
### Our job at this No Kings event is to urge Vermont voters to submit their ballots early to make sure their voice is heard. Remember, all registered Vermonters were sent mail-in ballots by the end of September.
## Why attend?
### In America the people choose their leaders. Leaders do not choose who votes, whose voices count or what futures our communities deserve. Voting early gives us the power to make our voices heard on our terms, before election day, before any last-minute chaos and before anyone else can decide what happens next. Our democracy depends on every eligible voter having the freedom to participate without intimidation, inference or barriers.
### October 17th No Kings Day and November 3 Election Day are not the finish line. They are moments in a much longer fight. No Kings will continue organizing and mobilizing post-election day, ensuring every voted is counted, election results are properly certified, and every voice is heard. Please consider signing up for No Kings: Vote Early – Election Protection Training.
### No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
### A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
