# The Mission
As citizens of America, we have a responsibility to show up **loud and proud** for the continuance of our democracy. We’re a government for the people, by the people – and it’s time to make that abundantly clear!
It’s time to participate! Commit to **VOTE EARLY! NO KINGS IN AMERICA!**
## Get Out the Vote in Tazewell County!
People of Tazewell County, rally on October 17th to get out the vote! Celebrate our rockstar elections officials and appreciate their tireless work helping us engage in our right, privilege, and duty as citizens of the United States. Come join us at the Tazewell County Courthouse in Pekin, IL – bring a sign, good vibes, and maybe a costume and some candy for our little guys trick and treating the downtown business area.
We can help you check your voter registration and help out with updating your registration, or you can go straight to the experts at the County Clerk’s office (McKenzie Building – 11 S. 4th St #203 Pekin, IL) next door!
Check out the excellent resources at [Vote 411](https://www.vote411.org) to help craft your voting plan!
## Sharing is Caring!
When you cast your ballot, shout loud and proud across your socials and networks: friends, family, coworkers, congregation, and beyond to let them know that you made a commitment for the future, and to ask them to do the same. Our students have drawn up some commemorative art for the elections – grab a pin and show it off!
## Rock the Early Vote at an Early Polling Site
Early voting for the midterms opens up September 24th, so don’t feel as though you have to wait up.
